(BASI) certified Mat & Studio Pilates Trainer
The Center for Women's Fitness
certified Pre- & Postnatal Pilates Specialist
born and raised in Japan. At the age of 16, I left Japan to enroll a 3 years dance training in London, UK. (Royal Ballet School for 1 year and English National Ballet School for 2 years). During the very first year of training, I injured my foot very badly and started to take an intensive Pilates training as a part of my Rehab program for several months. Pilates helped me to improve my inner focus and coordination for the functional movement. It also led me to discover the importance of creating a good balance between strength and flexibility for the injury prevention. I could therefore return to highly demanding dance training in my best condition.
Soon after I successfully graduated from the Ballet School, my dance career took me to Germany. I danced with The Deutsche Oper am Rhein Ballet and the Leipzig Ballet. After that I worked in the different fields of business in UK, Germany and Japan. I met Mr. Amit Younger at BASI Pilates in London and he qualified me as a BASI Pilates Mat trainer in 2008. Being pregnant with my first child in the same year, I joined the Pre & Postnatal Pilates Trainer's Course and certified as a Specialist.
I moved to Berlin with my family and opened my own Studio "Pilates Creation" in 2012. In 2015 I completed the BASI Pilates Equipment Course and become a fully qualified Studio Pilates Trainer.
I've discovered the great benefits of Pilates at each stage of my life ( as a dancer, a desk worker, a pregnent and a busy Mum) and I am inspired by this method, enhancing the well-being with Mind & Body approach.
Since August 2018, I live in Munich and offer private, duet and group classes in the Studios and Online. Recently I become a Scolio-Pilates Practitioner. Exercise and movement for someone who lives with Scoliosis.
